Mill View Motors is a VOSA Authorised Vehicle Testing Station.
The MOT test was first introduced in 1960 for vehicles over 10 years old, it was amended in 1967 to include any car over three years old. The test checks that vehicles meet road safety and environmental standards.
It is a legal requirement to have a valid MOT certificate. If your car does not have an MOT then it is classed as unroadworthy and you will not be able to obtain either road tax or insurance.
At Mill View Motors we provide MOT testing for all makes and models of cars and vans (including class 7).
Contact us now and book your vehicle in for an MOT. You can do this up to one month before the expiry date on your current MOT certificate.
Servicing
We offer all general vehicle servicing according to the manufacturers’ service schedules. We use only top quality parts and materials, which carry a full warranty, giving you peace of mind. If any additional work is required whilst your car is being serviced then we will contact you to gain approval for the work to be completed, or at a time convenient to you. This is so you are kept fully informed of the costs to you at all times.
We are able to service your vehicle without compromising the manufacturer’s mechanical warranty. This is acheived by servicing your vehicle under the recommended manufacturer’s service schedules. Our suppliers guarantee that their parts are either original equipment or of matching quality and which therefore satisfy the Block Exception Regulations.
Diagnostics
We use the latest Bosch diagnostic testing equipment to enable us to accurately diagnose faults.
Tyres
Tyre safety is often overlooked. Mill View Motors offer free tyre inspections and pressure checks.
Important for safety, ride and fuel economy.You should aim to have your tyre pressures checked once a month. Having the tyre pressures correct is important for several reasons:
Tyre life – under or over inflation increases wear
Fuel economy – under inflation increases fuel consumption
Safety – under or over inflation will affect grip and braking performance
Ride – over inflation can result in a harsh, uncomfortable and skittish ride

We are located on Cliffe Road, off the A43 at Easton On The Hill. If travelling from Stamford take the first turning left after The Exeter Arms Public House and Sharman’s Agricultural. When travelling from Collyweston on the A43 continue past Porters Lane and take the first turning right into Cliffe Road.
